Dr. Eric Mondschein is a native Floridian who grew up on Miami Beach and attended the University of Florida. He graduated with a Bachelor of science in Animal Sciences and Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. In 2007, Dr. Mondschein completed a dual degree program at Tufts University, earning both the Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health Degrees. He then completed a one year intensive internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists (Blue Pearl) in Tampa, Florida. In 2011, he became certified as a veterinary acupuncturist at the Chi Institute. Continuing his interest in integrative therapies he completed his certification in canine rehabilitation and physical therapy in 2016. Dr. Mondschein lives with his wife, Wendy, and their children Emerson, 2, and Ashton, 9 months old. His main veterinary interests include emergency medicine, geriatric wellness, and alternative and integrative therapies including Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and canine rehabilitation and physical therapy. His hobbies include traveling the world, spending time with his wife, and Gator football!
